I believe that a solid foundation is key to
long-term success in piano.

I am passionate about giving my students a comprehensive education in the foundations of note-reading, counting, music theory, basic technique, and playing with musical expression.

I use the following curriculum in my studio and choose the books that are best for your child:

Main Curriculum
My First Piano Adventures (ages 5 - 6)
Piano Adventures (ages 7 and up)
Accelerated Piano Adventures (older beginners)

Supplemental Curriculum
Piano Made Fun for the Young
The Perfect Start for Piano

We will also choose extra supplemental pieces and repertoire based on the student's interests, needs, and goals. 

My students also have the opportunity (although not a requirement) to participate in the USU Youth Conservatory events. If you are interested, please check out their events tab at the top of their website as well as the information about the Community All Access Pass.
